Job Description
As a Shop Mechanic you will be joining a leading construction firm in the Raleigh NC area. You will be working to repair mechanical systems in a automotive shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude exceptional problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs to CDL Vehicles Trucks and trailers
- Coordinate with other maintenance team members equipment operators and project managers to prioritize and address equipment needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental health and safety standards
- Maintain inventory and supplies submit work orders and organize required replacement parts
Job Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician. Additional vocational or technical training in heavy equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Valid Drivers License and/or CDL with clean driving record preferred
- Effective communication skills ability to collaborate with team members and provide clear explanations of repairs and maintenance needs.
