About the Job
The purpose of the role is to lead on the development and delivery of Haverings Research Strategy and to embed a research-focused approach to evidence-based decision making across the Council.
The post holder will be based in the Insights Team within the Public Health Insights Policy & Strategy Directorate and will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to champion research.
The post holder will be enthusiastic and passionate about research and will have the following key responsibilities:
The post is jointly funded by Havering Council and the NIHR RSS Specialist Centre for Public Health. The post holder will be able to access training and support from the NIHR RSS Specialist Centre for Public Health particularly the Local Authority Research Practitioner Network.
