Remote Employment Counsel Flexible Billables No BD Unlimited PTO
Location: Fully Remote (Must be admitted to a U.S. state bar)
Job Type: Full-Time Counsel No Business Development Required
Are you an employment attorney ready to elevate your legal career without the pressure of rainmaking or aggressive billable targets This fully remote opportunity is ideal for attorneys seeking a high-quality litigation practice with a sustainable workload and flexibility.
As Virtual Office Counsel you ll work on:
- Administrative charges EPLI-covered claims demand letters and employment litigation
- Federal and state court matters (primarily single-plaintiff)
- Drafting pleadings discovery responses and legal strategy development
- Collaborating with experienced partners associates and paralegals in a distributed team
- Minimal in-person obligations and no business development
Requirements
What You Need:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 5 7 years of employment law experience ideally in a law firm setting
- Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing (CA preferred)
- Strong litigation writing and case management skills
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment
Benefits
Compensation & Flexibility:
- Base Salary: Starting at $130000/year
- Flexible based on hours: $120K for 1400 hours $140K for 1600 hours
- Billable Expectation: 1500 hours/year
- Unlimited PTO 10% bonus eligible
