Job Description

This is a remote position.

Special Counsel Employment Litigation (Remote)

National Labor & Employment Law Firm

Are you a seasoned employment attorney looking for flexibility and impact Join a respected national law firm as Special Counsel handling complex employment litigation and agency matters with the freedom of a primarily remote work setup.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage:

    • EPLI-covered litigation

    • Administrative agency charges (EEOC DOL MSPB etc.)

    • Attorney demand letters

    • Single-plaintiff employment disputes

  • Handle all litigation phases: discovery depositions motions mediation and resolution

  • Collaborate with remote attorneys and support staff

  • Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessments

  • Attend occasional in-person hearings mediations or conferences



Requirements

Qualifications

  • 7 25 years of legal experience (law firm background preferred)

  • Skilled in managing cases from intake to resolution

  • Strong expertise in employment law defense

  • Exceptional legal writing and client communication skills

  • Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferred: a state with firm offices)

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $185000 $200000 (commensurate with experience and billable hours)

  • Bonus: Up to 10% annually
