Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the inspection of Finished Goods In-process line inspection and verification activities the non-conformity and complaints management activities of the company and compliance to mandates of certifying bodies.
Job Scope:
1. Investigation
2. Inspection

5. Documentation and reporting

Duties & Responsibilities:
Production QC and R&D Laboratories.
2.) Conducts spot-checking and verifies In-process and line inspection in all
manufacturing areas (dispensing warehouse quarantine rejected approved and
returned/recalled area and all Production lines from processing to packaging and
delivery trucks/vans).
3.) Conducts inspection of finished product/s based on Military sampling Scheme.
4.) Checks the quality of out-bound deliveries and accomplishes the necessary
documents associated therewith.
5.) Counter-checks and releases the approval of product label/s for mass production
against the pre- approved control as indicated in the Packaging Direction Record
of a particular product.
6.) Representative sampling of packaging material and/or Finished Goods from the
complaint batch; returned goods/ recalled batch/es subject for physical &
chemical verification and confirmation with the QC personnel.
7.) Checks the accomplished Batch Production Record (BPR) and Packaging
Direction Record (PDR) of each commercial batch produced prior to inspection
and submits it to the Quality Assurance Supervisor for final release approval of
the said batch.
8.) Conducts preliminary investigation through root-cause analysis pertinent to
product/customer complaint and other related non-conformities identified within
the process in coordination with the department head.
9.) Submits preliminary investigation report to Quality Assurance Head subject for
verification and assessment prior to final disposition by the latter.
10.) Releases on-time the Finished Goods in SAP in the absence of the QA Head.
11.) Filing and safekeeping of Batch Production Record (BPR) after the approved
release of product.
12.) Archiving and subsequent disposal of the Batch Production Result (BPR) after
storage period has elapsed.
13.) Consolidates the needed documents (as specified in the audit plan) and prepares
necessary aids needed for external audits.
14.) Spearheads the conduct of annual mock recall; Communicates with the stake
holders; Consolidates the annual mock recall exercise.
15.) Supervises the repacking of traded products; Checks the adequacy and
completeness of the accompanying documents as well as the quality of the
repacked good/s.
16.) Evaluate the physical attributes of returned goods and if needed request the
necessary laboratory analyses to verify the products quality.
17.) Assists in testing the packaging materials both under accreditation and R&D
material development.
18.) Assists in the conduct of microbial swabbing for packaging materials.
19.) Performs other functions that maybe assigned from time to time.
For RRLC:
20.) Conducts the quarterly packaging material supplier accreditation.
For BMC:
21.) Ensures compliance to HALAL policies and measures.
a.) for food division:
22.) Collaborate with the sales team in accomplishing Product and Supplier
Accreditations. Also prepares sample and technical documents for client
evaluation.

Qualifications :
Education:
Graduate of B.S. Chemistry Chemical Engineering Pharmacy and other science-related courses.
Years of Related Work Experience:
With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in the analytical laboratory.
Job Skills/Competencies Required:
Must be responsible hardworking honest and trustworthy; With good exposure in conducting the product inspection and complaint management background; Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of materials intermediates and finished products; Aggressive and result-oriented person; Can work under pressure and very flexible if time requires to be; Must be computer-literate
