Operate advanced steel processing machines in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Youll gain insight into:
Steel material handling and preparation
CNC programming basics
Tolerances and quality standards for structural fabrication
Robotics Team Welding Programming & Automation
Join our industry-leading automation group and help run one of the largest robotic welding machines in the world a dual-robot gantry system with tandem arc welding. Learn to:
Program and operate robotic welding systems
Understand motion paths weld sequences and quality control
Work on large-scale heavy-plate infrastructure components
Contract Type:
Casual employment
Minimum 2 days per week (flexible with university schedules)
Day and evening shifts available
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
Currently studying Mechanical Engineering (2nd year or beyond preferred)
Interest in steel fabrication robotics or advanced manufacturing
Willingness to get hands-on and learn in a real-world setting
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Work-ready mindset reliable safety-focused and team-oriented
