Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MOT Crew Lead to oversee and manage traffic control operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic management excellent leadership and communication skills and a commitment to safety. The role requires adherence to all federal state and local regulations as well as company policies and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement traffic control measures to ensure the safety of the public and team members.
  • Set up and dismantle lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
  • Safely load unload and transport signs cones and barricades.
  • Direct traffic around construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
  • Drive companyvehiclesto transport equipment and trailers to and from work sites.
  • Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
  • Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any potential safety issues.
  • Complete all required job-related paperwork and documentation.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in traffic control flagging or lane closure operations.
  • Advanced Certification.
  • Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
  • Strong work ethic communication skills and positive attitude. 
  • Flexible Schedule (nights weekends 10 hour days).

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to lift carry or move 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform regular physical tasks including extended standing walking on construction sites and frequently bending kneeling and reaching.

Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to outdoor elements including varying temperatures humidity and weather conditions.
