Job Description
You will work closely with AFRYs Mining and Metals Technology Team within the Technology and Smart Solutions unit as a Technology Specialist or Manager depending on your expertise and professional experience. You will be responsible for pyrometallurgical projects within AFRYs Process Industries Division.
Technology Specialists / Managers work is versatile. Depending on your experience and skills profile your tasks may include sales proposal development project management process engineering tasks as well as developing new approaches and client offerings.
Typical work tasks include:
- Serving as a technology expert in the planning and execution phases of clients investment projects.
- Modeling metallurgical processes.
- Designing pyrometallurgical processes.
- Sales and project management.
- Developing new solutions and approaches in projects from concept development to implementation including commissioning and start-up.
You will receive full support from your multi-skilled colleagues and AFRYs international project base offers opportunities for further professional growth.
Qualifications :
If you recognize yourself in the following you might be the new Technology Specialist / Manager we are looking for:
- You hold a masters degree in a relevant field preferably in process metallurgy.
- You have several years of hands-on experience in technology development conceptual and basic engineering project execution and/or plant operation.
- You have the ability to develop new solutions and approaches in a client-oriented manner.
- In the position of a Technology Manager ability to act as in project manager or in leading expert role in projects.
- In the position of a Technology Specialist your deep knowledge of the field is utilized to provide practical solutions for clients.
- We expect you to have good communication skills in English both written and verbal. Proficiency in Finnish is considered an advantage.
