Job Description
Job Title- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Developer & Administrator
Location Mississauga ON Canada hybrid
Contract 1 year
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable secure and resilient OCI infrastructure solutions.
Develop using Terraform or Resource Manager for OCI.
Automate deployment pipelines using OCI DevOps GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance cost and availability.
Manage and support the following Oracle Cloud Infrastructure domains:
o Core Infrastructure: Compute Networking (VCN Load Balancer) and Storage (Block Object File).
o Security and Identity: IAM policies compartments encryption and access control.
o Developer Services: OCI Functions API Gateway DevOps pipelines and SDKs.
o Database Services: Autonomous Database Exadata Cloud Service and Oracle Database Cloud.
o Monitoring and Observability: Logging Metrics Alarms and Application Performance Monitoring.
o Governance and Administration: Budgets Quotas Tagging and Resource Manager.
Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
Maintain documentation and provide training to internal teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
3 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
Experience with Terraform Ansible or OCI Resource Manager.
Strong understanding of networking security and cloud architecture principles.
Hands-on experience with OCI services: Compute VCN Load Balancer Object Storage IAM and Monitoring.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
OCI certifications (e.g. OCI Foundations Architect Associate/Professional DevOps Professional).
Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes OKE).
Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
