Job Description:
Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to wear required PPE to fullfill shift duties: smock hairnet gloves facemask and safety glasses.
- Use hand tools spot welders microscopes and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
- Follow all policies procedures and drawings for accuracy and quality.
- Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
- Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
- Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.
- Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
- Must have strong problem solving analytical skills adaptability and flexibility.
- Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office data entry email)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
- Must be able to clearly read and write in English.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- High level of attention to detail
- Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs
- Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required
- Work 12-hour compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed
