Job Description
Join our professional housekeeping team as a Guest Room Attendant responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure security and proper handling of guest belongings and room items
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned guest rooms including:
- Change and make beds according to hotel standards with fresh linens
- Replace used towels and maintain proper linen inventory
- Dust and clean all surfaces thoroughly
- Vacuum carpets and floor surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathroom facilities
- Replenish room amenities and supplies according to standards
- Maintain and organize cleaning cart with necessary supplies and equipment
- Update room status information in the property management system
- Report maintenance issues and room deficiencies to appropriate personnel
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
- Ability to maneuver cleaning cart and equipment (up to 200 pounds)
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including kneeling reaching stooping bending scrubbing sweeping vacuuming and dusting
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- Must maintain all required certifications and licenses
