We seek a talented School Psychologist who will provide a range of psychological services to students in grades K-12 including testing counseling and consulting to assist in meeting the social emotional and educational needs of general and special education students.
Heres what youll do:
- Assessment and Interpretation: Conducts psycho-education evaluations that analyze the learning characteristics educational needs and social behaviors relevant to education placement and instructional planning. Interprets the resulting data to determine appropriate support and classifications. Participate as a member of the IEP team contributing evaluation findings and collaborating with all members of the team to provide recommendations
- Compliance and Reporting: Maintains appropriate system data including compliance IEP dates and appropriate student achievement data. Supports with continuous improvement process and reporting related to Special Education including Performance Indicator Disproportionality and County Oversight reviews
- Direct Intervention for Students: Provides social-emotional interventions and counseling to students to support the teaching process and to maximize learning. Monitors necessary caseloads
- Partnership: Consults with teachers administrators specialists agencies counselors and parents. Completes referrals to outside agencies. Attends SELPA meetings and serves as a liaison to related SELPA services (speech and language ERMHS). Acts as a liaison between the public and providing agencies and county programs
- Program Development: Assists in the development of in-service programs and/or conducts in-service meetings and workshops for teachers administrators parents and other support staff related to special education and social-emotional learning
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Masters Degree in Educational Psychology or related field
- Current California Pupil Services credential is required
- Experience in Teaching Education and/or related field is preferred

Pay Range: $98000.00 - $133421.23. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
