Opportunity at a Glance
The Groundskeeper is responsible for the cleaning and beautification of the campus grounds and commercial establishments by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the grounds gardens pathways walkways and drains clean tidy and in good condition.

• Mowing the lawns and grounds regularly and maintaining them in good condition.

• Collecting and removing garbage on a daily basis.

• Pruning and fertilizing all plants on Campus whether fruit ornamental or decorative on a regular basis.

• Assisting with improvement and beautification of all the grounds and ensuring that the Campus is kept clean and free of litter.

• Assisting with the dumping of animals and animal parts and the washing down and cleaning of the pick-up truck after such tasks.

• Grounds maintenance at the new Large Animal Complex (LAC).

• Brush scrubbing and washing down of the rubber floors at the Large Animal Treatment Building.

• Trash collection and removal at the LAC and research barn near housing.

• Grounds maintenance at the new Eastern Parking lot.

• Grounds maintenance of the new entry and entry roadway to the Eastern side of campus and parking lot.

• Grounds maintenance of the new RUSVM sponsored round-about.

• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the School Administrator or by the Dean.

• Completes other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications :

• Completed primary education Required and
• up to 6 months related experience and/or training; Required or
• equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
• Must be able to read and write and understand instructions. Must be able to work shifts early mornings or late evenings weekends and holidays.
