Join Our Mission-Driven Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant at CHI Health
Are you passionate about helping others regain mobility and improve their quality of life CHI Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. In this role youll work closely under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide hands-on care that supports recovery function and well-being.

Assist in implementing care plans and treatments designed by a licensed physical therapist.
Work directly with patients to improve strength mobility and independence.
Contribute to a collaborative care team focused on achieving measurable goals.
Ensure compliance with all documentation billing and regulatory requirements.
Supervise physical therapy techs in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Stay informed and educated on the latest best practices in physical therapy.
Participate in program quality improvement initiatives and student mentorship (as assigned).
Maintain all mandatory education and certifications related to safety quality and infection control.
Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Licensure: Active PTA license in Nebraska Iowa or through the PT Compact.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication professionalism organization and a strong focus on patient safety and evidence-based practice.
Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
