Job Description

Day Hospitalistat UMCAP Largo MD (FT)

AdfinitasHealth has a Full-time opening to join our Hospitalist team at the Universityof Maryland Capital Region in Largo Maryland.

Position Details

Our hospitalist team provides inpatient carewithin the hospital setting including admitting patients performing physicalexams ordering tests diagnosing performing hospital rounds and planning fordischarge.
Heart & Vascular Institute with dedicated cardiac intensive care unit
Designated Stroke Center
Level II Trauma Center
2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One
205 licensed beds in private rooms
32 Bed intensive care unit
Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs

Mustbe BC/BE in hospital medicine with an active Maryland license American HeartAssociation CPR Certification DEA license and Maryland Controlled SubstanceRegistration

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince Georges County the newstate-of-the-art regional medical center offers improved access to primary andambulatory care services and serves as a tertiary care center for criticallyill patients.
In partnership with the University of Maryland Medical SystemUM Capital Region Medical Center was built from the ground up in 2021 to meetthe changing needs of our community.
