CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care specialty care family medicine 3D mammography orthopedics neurology and several other health services to our Williston community.

As our Clinic CNA at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston now part of CommonSpirit Health youll assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ Hospital Provider. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.

• Perform/record vital signs CPR apply oxygen delivering systems perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings prepare sterile field for suturing assist provider with treatment when appropriate apply restraints clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization collect urine specimens and phlebotomy
  
• Assists in making observations gathering data and identifying patient care needs
  
• Assists with patient transports and transfers
  
• Answer telephones filing greet patients/visitors transcribe providers orders electronic data entry and assist with documentation
  
• Assists with cleaning stocking and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
  
• Practices safe work habits compliance with safety rules and regulations and adheres to safety policies

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.

Licensure and Certifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant; North Dakota required.
  • ND State Nursing Assistant Registry - Hearth Association Basic Life Support (BLS)-CPR required.
    • Within 30 days of start.
