Leidos is looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer!
The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to work for the Federal Aviation Administration Regional Office in El Segundo CA.
This position is located in El Segundo CA.
Must be able to work onsite to the El Segundo CA office. Alternate work schedule is a possibility such as 4/10 OR 9 hours days off every other Friday with Manager / Customer approval.
25% Travel Estimate.
The Civil / Structural Engineer will review and update designs drawings and conduct physical inspections required for the alteration modernization or expansion of FAA facilities to support National Air Space (NAS) modernization projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering OR Structural Engineering and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Professional Engineering License from any State in the US.
Engineering experience with structural design construction techniques and concrete foundations.
Proficiency with Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) software.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder OR working in the USA with a temporary protected status (TPS) visa who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with No breaks OR leaving the country. One must be able to show documentation of proof once asked by security or the FAA.
Please Note: The program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $121000 to $135000 with a slight wiggle room to go up (but no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
