Job Description
- Directs the management and hiring of all WMRE Project Engineering/Management Personnel reviews organizational requirements and develops appropriate staffing to optimize and support departmental needs.
- Responsible for working with Front End Development Project Controls Operations teams to develop and manage project budgets.
- Directs the development of and participates in reviewing and approving the short and long-range operating objectives and plans.
- Reviews and evaluates WMRE Project and Engineering performance on a continuing basis and establishes proper measures of performance.
- Directs process improvement efforts and creates proper key performance indicators to track improvement efforts.
- Acts as a liaison where necessary for market area relationships and establishing proper communication with area teams.
- Complies with and ensures adherence to WMs safety standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient project management.
- Works with all regulatory groups to assess permitting requirements and where possible expedite all aspects of permitting.
- Must be able to manage and inspire a variety of strong personalities and relationships while preserving or improving the culture.
- Direct supervision of full-time employees and managers of managers including: various levels of project managers project engineers and support personnel.
- Must be able to maintain and cultivate WM/WMRE culture and values.
- Bachelors Degree (accredited) or in lieu of Required or
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 5 years relevant experience Required
- 10 years of relevant work experience Required and
- 5 years managing multiple projects. Required
- This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers phones copy machines etc.
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. or Canada as appropriate is $155085 - $240000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience education training certifications qualifications and work location.
