Event and Production Manager
What will you do
This role will be responsible for managing event and video production needs for VF Corporations corporate functions and act as a resource for VFs portfolio of brands. This role sits in the Corporate Communications function and reports to the Sr. Director Digital Communications. This role is based in Denver CO or Costa Mesa CA with a hybrid in-office schedule requiring up to 30% travel.
Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Corporate Event Management
- Leads coordination and production VF Corporate global town halls conferences webcasts and other events both on-site and virtual.
- On location management of the procurement of equipment creative collateral and fabrication set design and construction budget management client and venue interface and show flow creation and execution.
- Oversee on-site production and ensure technical capabilities for virtual webcasts interactive elements (Q&A chat) etc.
- Act as liaison for vendor partners and clients for production events.
- Procure vet and manage freelance support for events (audio engineer camera operator grip etc.).
- Manage streaming platform vendor relationship and budget.
- Determine equipment own vs. rent strategy aligned to budget and procure equipment as needed.
- Partner with facilities team to optimize global owned location spaces for events (rigging audio etc.).
Brand Event Production
- Partner with brand contacts on internal and external meetings (in person hybrid and virtual) including employee townhalls sales/go-to-market meetings and seasonal kickoffs.
- Lead all production and technical aspects of events.
- Build working relationships with brand contacts across locations and regions.
- Calendar and prioritize events based on size and complexity.
- Manage remote production events and teams as necessary.
Video Production
- Oversees video projects from concept to delivery including pre-production production and post-production.
- Work with internal and external clients to produce videos for events editorial stories leadership announcements initiatives etc.
- Identify best practices for video and evolve daily operations as necessary.
- Act as subject matter expert for production needs i.e. equipment trainings etc. (on-site and virtual).
- Ensure all projects are properly archived and organized in digital asset management system.
- Partner with members of the communications brand teams and cross-functionally to craft marketing assets and messages related to film content.
- Capture photography and b-roll when necessary for projects or on ad hoc basis.
What do you need to succeed
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role there are foundation skills youll need to succeed and excel. Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 5 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment).
- Knowledge of shooting and editing videos.
- Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro X.
- Extensive knowledge of video production equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of live streaming platforms.
- Excellent organization planning and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Confident in leading a team to solve creative challenges and is solutions-oriented.
- Customer service orientated.
- Animated graphic skills a plus.
- This job requires an up-to-date passport.

Hiring Range:
$77760.00 USD - $97200.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan sales incentive orcommissionpotential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
