Job Vision:
Ensure that 7G Distributing will drive profitable volume growth market share and maintain its position among Suppliers as a leading distributor through proper planning and execution management.
This will in part be accomplished by:
Focusing on areas and factors where 7G Distributing must improve in order to win long-term sustainable market share while the sales team is focused on detailed tactical execution.
Ensuring best-in-market DSD service to all accounts through best-in-class execution and maintaining superior partner relationships with retailers and Suppliers.
Serve as a role model for 7G Distributing by establishing mutual respect with management and co-workers. Lead by example to promote teamwork cooperation and enhanced morale.
Operate with candor integrity and professionalism is all 7G Distributing interfaces.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Increase volume and distribution for NA Brands in assigned accounts as established in the 7G Distributing annual plan and as reported in RAS reports.
Sell new package placements as prioritized and directed by monthly sales goal (NA Brands).
Dominate merchandising in all assigned accounts.
Maintain the structured sales call frequency for all assigned accounts.
Prepare and transmit orders consistent with retail needs and 7G Distributing goals before the stated order cut-off time.
Utilize the handheld order entry and account management computer as a selling tool ensuring all products are reviewed in order to prevent out of stocks and hot shots.
Advise and train retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling merchandising and pricing products always putting the needs of the retailer first.
Be aware of competitive trends in your market adjust selling strategies accordingly to ensure 7G is winning in the marketplace. Communicate competitive trends and intelligence to the Sales Team Leader.
Maintain control of retailer inventories to ensure adequate product is available for sale while minimizing out of stocks.
Ensure that Supplier-required and 7G Distributing endorsed product quality standards are maintained through the proper rotation of product.
Demonstrate team-building cooperation with sales delivery and merchandising personnel in order to win at retail and dominate the competition.
Resolve all customer complaints as soon as possible.
Actively participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings as appropriate to discuss objectives and accomplishments including sales goals vs. actual distribution POS placements budgets compliance performance training updates and new product information.

Preferred Qualifications:
1-year sales/related on the job experience
2-year degree unless meets experience requirement
Computer knowledge that includes Microsoft Windows Office Suite and Web Based Applications
Required Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and meets insurability requirements
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times regularly
