About AppleTree
The Technology Support Coordinator is an integral member of the Technology and Operations Teams responsible for providing technology and equipment support to end users across the AppleTree network. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written an ability to easily build rapport strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. A Technology mind and problem-solving skills are necessary as unprecedented issues often arise with no prior documentation for reference. This role reports to the Director of HR & Technology.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to staff including but not limited to fielding staff support calls walking staff through system operations gathering information for issue research and troubleshooting and escalation where necessary to Tier 3 support
Provide resources for staff self-learning on equipment applications and technical services
Support of and training of users on organization software including Google Workspace apps Zoom Asana MacOS functions iOS etc
Support of and training of users on copiers/printers AV and telecommunication systems
Provide accurate documentation on staff support interactions maintenance and project work
Day-to-day administration of Google Workspace asset management network and ticketing systems
Manage day-to-day and troubleshooting communications with external service providers
Gather feedback for continuous improvement of services and equipment provided; make and implement recommendations on enhancements to department activities
Keep up to date with developments in relevant software hardware and systems
Go the extra mile to ensure high staff satisfaction in a timely manner
Note: Approximately 85% of this persons work will take place in AppleTree schools or at our corporate office in SE Washington DC with the remainder remote work.
Associates Bachelors degree or combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Formal tech training in productivity software CompTIA A / Network )
2-4 years of work experience preferably in technology computer systems and/or a technology-related field
Ability to diagnose problems and move swiftly to find solutions
Intermediate to advanced technology skills preferably in Google Workspace Apps or MS Office Suite
Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing technical concepts to staff
Commitment to AppleTrees mission and core values
Able to start work early and/or finish late on occasions when necessary
Must be able to comfortably lift and move 50 LBS and operate in confined spaces
Access to a car and a valid drivers license for travel to multiple school sites in Washington DC
Compensation:
The salary range is $48672-$56784.
