We are looking for a talented and dynamic Public Relations Manager to join our International team.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the overall external communications strategy and tactical plans for Cencora.
- Develops and oversees PR strategy and execution of external communications for business segments and service lines in Europe.
- Builds strengthens and maintains relationships with key trade business and local media across Europe.
- Applies innovative approaches to increase the awareness of Cencora in Europe its value propositions and market successes. Uses strategic planning to further connect PR and sales teams to drive impact of media relations results with key customer segments.
- Applies strong relationship-building skills and facilitates communications among the external public relations agency marketing business leaders and market-level comms leads to maintain message excellence frequency and consistency.
- Develops public relations related materials such as press releases backgrounders and public relations plans and supports the approval and distribution process.
- Develops and oversees strategy and execution surrounding opportunities aligned to business priorities including but not limited to corporate and industry events new product launches and service enhancements and thought leadership.
- Identifies global media coverage opportunities and ensures they are secured. Responds to media inquiries.
- Works closely with commercial leaders to provide media briefings and lead interview preparation.
- Manages global public relations agency in support of Cencora.
- Organizes projects and maintains effective planning to ensure issues and that milestones are met.

- Maintains and promotes positive and professional working relationships with associates and management.
- Complies with all appropriate policies procedures safety rules and regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration accountancy sales marketing computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelors Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; Public Relations agency experience or in Healthcare Pharma Industry (Desirable).
- Language Requirement: English (Fluent) any other EU language - French or Spanish would be a plus.
MINIMUM SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with media and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Sound analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
