Grade UE07: 40497 to 48149per annum pro-rata if part-time

CMVM/ RDVS / The Roslin Institute

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Open-ended (permanent)

The successful candidate will be expected to expand support and maintain research activities in the Global Burden of Animal Diseases programme (). The role will be integrated into the research activities in the Roslin Institute drawing on the animal health research programmes and engaging with scientists to support and justify research programmes. The candidate will also be expected to support the coordination with GBADs consortium and international organisations with particularly reference to ILRI FAO WOAH and OECD.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however we are open to considering part-time or flexible working are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The contract is open ended with a review date 31 March 2028.

The salary for this post is 40497 to 48149 per annum pro-rata if part-time.

  • Epidemiology and economic skills and experience in their application.
  • Knowledge of disease burden methods and their application.
  • Communication skills that enhance and improve scientific collaboration.
