Job Description
General Summary
Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.
Responsibilities
WellSpan Health is seeking a part-time Internist/ Family Physician for the Gettysburg/Chambersburg PA area. Individual must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Position Highlights:
- Join a growing team providing post-acute rehab and skilled nursing care
- Enjoy working 14.75 hours a week
- Small collegial practice (culture of positivity) will include 3 physicians and 5 APPs
- New provider will split time between facilities in Gettysburg and Chambersburg PA
- Flexibility in working hours/days
- New position to support expansion of our post-acute services
- EPIC electronic health record

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Teaching skills.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Good phone skills.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Organized sets priorities and able to multi-task.
