Performs administrative professional and supervisory work in the Facilities Management field. Responsibilities include supervising overseeing analyzing directing and planning facilities activities of the operation and maintenance sections within the Division. This position also supports the development and administration of a Facilities master plan for all City facilities. An employee assigned to this position is responsible for planning directing and coordinating activities to ensure operations and maintenance efforts are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Work is performed under the general direction of the Facilities Management Division Manager and is reviewed to determine if projects stay within designed parameters.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Architecture Construction or Facilities Management with three (3) years construction or facilities management experience required; or an equivalent combination of education training licenses and experience. Valid Florida Drivers License required. Certified Facility Management (CFM) designation preferred. Positions in the Facilities Division must pass police background investigation.
