Founded in 1887 Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles California. Serving over 70000 patients annually the hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II Trauma Center Level III NICU heart care womens health and a family birth center. In 2025 we opened our new patient tower Grand Tower featuring a dramatically expanded Emergency Department and Family Birth Center that will increase patient comfort and privacy.

Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan TJC and other licensing accrediting and regulatory agencies. Through the use of accepted techniques and practices provides high quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging studies. Through safe operation and care of equipment ensures proper safety of patients to high magnetic fields and Diagnostic MRI procedures. Ensures safety of patients by following established guidelines for MRI procedure protocols and IV contrast administration. Communicates effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff. Able to evaluate coordinate and execute responsibilities under pressure situations. Has the initiative to resolve customer problems by self and involves supervisors as necessary. Provides professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics while following hospital policies procedures and standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
