KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Oversees operation of the gift shop resulting in $300000 annual revenue. 2. Provides coordination between gift shops payroll deduct issues information services and the electronic product sales and inventory system. 3. Coordinates ThedaCare changes to the electronic product sales and inventory system and problem-solves issues from users with the system. 4. Supports and supervises an effective volunteer team. 5. Maintains accurate accounting/bookkeeping for shop in QuickBooks. Provides volunteer auxiliary board with regular accounting report. Ensures ledger balance is over cost to support grant program. 6. Reviews pricing and products in gift shop and maintains appropriate inventory. 7. Selects merchandise through good communication with sales rep websites and/or food or product shows. 8. Uses effective marketing techniques to promote the gift shop. 9. Complies with regulatory standards. 10. Handles and reports all state taxes. QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in accounting retail sales or other relevant disciplines Two years of retail experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to move freely (standing stooping walking bending pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties WORK ENVIRONMENT: Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
