Your future team:
You will join our Factory of the Future team of specialists within Group R&D. We are a team of passionate skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop & implement the newest technologies for stone wool production. The Factory of the Future team is established with the aim of upgrading our production facilities with best-in-class OT & IT Solutions. We are proud to be word leaders in our industry and we work hard to stay in this position.
What you will be doing:
We are looking for an Engineer with IT/OT experience in logistics. The WCS Engineer is responsible for the support development and maintenance of the Warehouse Control System (WCS) and related automation technologies within our warehouse and production line. This role involves implementing enhancements troubleshooting system issues collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
We work on projects and base our solutions on a deep understanding of our production processes and if standard components are not available we develop our own.
Doing so you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues from our lab to production sites across the Globe. Therefore you can expect to travel up to 60 days a year mostly being on-site in the factory for meetings implementations testing or supporting solution launch.

To truly make an impact we imagine that you have:
Degree in IT OT Process Automation Robotics or similar
Experience with MS SQL .Net JS
Basic knowledge of frontend and UX fields
5 years of experience; ideally within global companies/industries which are relevant for the role
Experience with developing testing and implementing WCS/MES software modifications microservices enhancements and new features functionalities to improve system performance efficiency and scalability.
Worked closely with other IT/OT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration between the WCS WMS ERP and other enterprise systems
Worked with external vendors to resolve technical issues implement upgrades and stay informed about new technologies
Solid industrial production knowledge
Understanding of material products and pallets flow within factory
Experience with TrakSYS platform will be an additional advantage
Fluent English
