EMEA Fixed Income Technology Electronic Trading Technology
Role Description
Jefferies EMEA Fixed Income Electronic Trading Technology Team is seeking a UI Developer who specializes in WPF and C#. Individual should have Computer Science/Engineering degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience implementing .net GUIs.
Responsibilities
- Write plugins on top of the trading system to quickly visualise financial information
- Upgrade existing plugins to abide by a consistent standard
- Work within a CI environment and be comfortable with the full SDLC process.
- Collaborate with teams across business lines and regions
Degree
- BS/MS Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Knowledge
- WPF
- .net framework .net core
Big Plus:
- ION MMI
- PUB/SUB architecture
- Experience in building realtime .net clients
Good to have one or more of the following
- Creating a component based architecture
- Electronic trading system experience
- Basic Fixed Income experience
- Providing 2nd level support
Personal Characteristics:
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative. Able to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex problems.
- A passion for technology which drives architecturally sound design
- A highly collaborative individual with the ability to work across different tech teams
- Disciplined and independent personal management skills - can work to deadlines and standards with a minimum of supervision when required.
- Enthusiastic and energetic in the execution of their tasks
- Commercially aware; Focused on achieving the right results with flexible maintainable solutions
