A Brief Overview
The Senior Admission Coordinator (AC) will report to the Manager Domestic Undergraduate Enrolment. In addition to holding their own admission portfolio the Senior AC will assist in the training and day-to-day coordination of admission and recruitment personnel. The Senior AC will also provide direction and guidance to admission and recruitment personnel and will support the Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment Leadership Team in the planning delivery and evaluation of all enrolment-related activities and initiatives.
This position organizes the admission process including evaluating admission applications and advising prospective students and parents on admission requirements program details and financial assistance programs. This position develops recommends plans and coordinates activities information and procedures that help students navigate processes. This position develops and recommends targets to measure strategic enrolment objectives. This position develops recommends and implements marketing and communications strategies to support student recruitment and enrollment. This position prepares statistical reports and interprets the results of recruiting trends opportunities or potential issues. This position also directs allocates and supervises the work of other staff.
The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work variable hours on a regular basis including evenings and weekends. In addition travel is an inherent part of the position. This position is subject to the Averaging and Travel Time Credit provisions of the USW Local 2010 Collective Agreement.
