Job Description
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our waste processing facilities. If you have experience operating excavators wheel loaders grinders or shredders and are passionate about working in a safe environment we would love to hear from you. In this role you will be essential to our operations ensuring the efficient handling and processing of materials to support our recycling services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator with experience in Wheel Loaders Excavators Grinders or Shredders.
- Valid drivers license.
- At Least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States
- A strong commitment to working safely and stewarding resources responsibly.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and address equipment issues promptly.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Physically able to climb in and out of machinery.
- Physically able to lift push and pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs repeatedly all day long. Able to lift push and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators wheel loaders grinders and shredders with a commitment to safety and excellence.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to keep equipment in peak condition.
- Handle and process materials with care aligning with our goal of continual improvement in all that we do.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance demonstrating integrity in all tasks.
- Assist with sorting materials by hand when not operating equipment.
$24 - $27 an hour
Range dependent on skill and amount of experience
