Thompson Law a nationally growing personal injury firm based in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas seeks a Closing Legal Assistant to join the team!

The Position:

As the Closing Legal Assistant you become the champion of our clients experience during the crucial final stages of their personal injury cases. Your role is to be the beacon of hope and the guide they rely on leaving a lasting impression that meets and exceeds their expectations. This position is a perfect blend of operational responsibilities and customer service requiring both administrative skills and a personable approach.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with attorneys and paralegals to craft settlements that are fair and beneficial.
  • Act as the primary contact for insurance adjusters to expedite payment processes.
  • Work with medical providers and lien holders to settle bills ensuring our clients financial ease.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients providing updates and fostering a positive experience throughout the closure of their case.
  • Help to amplify our firms presence by obtaining social media reviews and recommendations from clients.
  • Complete various administrative tasks to close client files efficiently and effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working within a personal injury law firm is required.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Experience in people-facing roles such as client services or hospitality is highly encouraged.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a significant caseload efficiently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills capable of professional and empathetic interaction with various parties.
