Job Description
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Net Zero Project Manager to lead our efforts in reducing carbon emissions and achieving net-zero targets. This role requires strong project management skills knowledge of sustainability practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement net-zero strategies and action plans.
- Manage projects to reduce energy consumption greenhouse gas emissions and waste.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including facilities operations and sustainability teams.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress.
- Engage with stakeholders including employees customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Sustainability or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sustainability energy management or project management.
- Strong knowledge of net-zero principles sustainability practices and energy efficiency.
- Project management certifications (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) preferred.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
