Job Description

About the Role
In this key leadership role youll oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and financial statements guide junior staff and help improve processes to deliver top-tier service. Youll play a vital part in maintaining client relationships while ensuring high-quality and timely financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals companies partnerships and trusts
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Australian standards
- Mentor and support junior team members helping them grow professionally
- Stay updated on Australian tax law and accounting standards and share insights with the team
- Continuously look for ways to improve workflow and service delivery
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
- Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
- Experience with Xero and BGL 360
- SMSF experience (a plus but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
