The Challenge
In the role of DevOps Engineer III youll collaborate with the DevOps Engineering Manager and a team of 5-10 engineers to craft secure scalable infrastructure. Collaborating and learning with broader development operations and security teams we drive CI/CD efficiency system reliability and automation. Beyond technical expertise youll mentor engineers shape strategy and influence decisions to enhance Take-Twos engineering culture.
What Youll Take On
- Architect implement and optimize cloud-based and on-prem environments using Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
- Optimize and implement secure scalable CI/CD pipelines (examples GitHub Actions Jenkins) for seamless automation.
- Triage and resolve infrastructure network and application performance issues for both cloud and on-premises systems.
- Mentor other engineers shape DevOps culture and drive innovation across teams.
What You Bring
- Adaptability and a willingness to craft document and socialize solutions collaboratively for issues that may be outside your understanding.
- An ability to work independently but ready to ask for help when needed.
- Strong proficiency in AWS Azure or GCP with hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet and observability tools like Prometheus Grafana and Datadog etc.
- Design develop automate testing and deploy custom tools using languages like Python or C#.
- Version control administration (examples GitHub Perforce)
Great to Have:
- Experience with database administration and performance tuning.
- Experience in optimizing cloud costs security and performance.
- Background in Agile methodologies and Product Management (Jira SmartSheets).
