Job Description

*** This is a hybrid role reporting to the office 3 days per week and is based out of New Orleans LA. There is no relocation assistance available for this posting.***

*** The official job title will be IT Specialist II IT Specialist - Sr or IT Consultant depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.***

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

As a member of the Information Technology (IT) Performance Management team this role supports the execution of our performance reporting strategy focusing on the development improvement and overall enhancement of our performance reporting capabilities. The role supports internal stakeholders within IT and Technology Business Services (TBS) and will solution and deliver reports that highlight various key performance indicators (KPIs) and IT Service Management (ITSM) fundamentals (e.g. incident management asset management CMDB change management etc.)

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize Microsoft Power BI Power Automate and/or Power Apps to collect and analyze performance data
  • Develop maintain and produce operational and strategic reports and dashboards to measure and visualize KPIs.
  • Consistently validate and review metrics and reporting for accuracy identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Track and analyze performance process adherence and compliance against performance targets
  • Lead ideation and requirement specification of reporting and other ITSM capabilities
  • Work closely with process owners and delivery teams to support continuous improvement through data driven analysis
  • Develop and run periodic and ad-hoc reports in support of IT Operations and core service delivery functions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education and experience required of the position:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science MIS or business-related field and 2 years of relevant experience is required or in lieu of a degree 4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • IT Specialist II: 2 years of relevant experience
  • IT Specialist Sr: 4 years of relevant experience
  • IT Consultant: 6 years of relevant experience 3 years solution design experience is a plus

Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer centric orientation with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Attention to details ability to multitask and effective time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends
  • A strong understanding of ITSM processes Incident Problem Change Request etc.

Desired knowledge skills and abilities:

  • MySQL or Oracle database experience
  • Previous experience with R Python SAS SPARK etc.
  • Proven experience leveraging technologies processes and applications to analyze data

Any certificates licenses etc. required of the position:

  • ServiceNow or ITIL certifications are a plus.
