Description

The Special Projects Manager is a high-impact individual contributor who plays a key role in driving complex cross-functional initiatives that are critical to the companys growth innovation and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys solving multifaceted problems and can operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a trusted expert and hands-on contributor for high-priority projects across departments including operations engineering quality finance and supply chain.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses research and feasibility assessments to inform executive decisions.
  • Build business cases models and presentations to support strategic initiatives such as facility upgrades cost reduction programs process improvement efforts or new product lines.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and department heads to gather data identify risks and recommend solutions ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Create and track detailed project plans milestones and KPIs helping ensure successful execution across departments.
  • Support the President with preparation of board materials executive updates and special reports.
  • Step into temporary support roles or fill knowledge gaps as needed during transitions pilot programs or organizational changes.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices regulatory changes and emerging technologies relevant to the aerospace sector.
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate Click Bond policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining clean orderly and hazard-free work areas.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Proven track record of contributing to complex high-value projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly.
  • Highly organized self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fluid environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and project planning tools (e.g. Smartsheet MS Project).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace fastener technologies design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS9100).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of successful project management.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and manage change in a dynamic environment. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents logarithms quadratic
  • equations and permutations.
  • Ability to write and read English.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA MS) is a plus.
  • 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing consulting or a related technical field.
