As our CNA at CHI St. Francis Health now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health youll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.
Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. The Certified Nurse Assistant (herewith referred to as C.N.A.) assists patients and/or clients with healthcare needs by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs providing compassion and comfort transportation and vital sign monitoring under the supervision of an RN or LPN:
Clerical duties:
Answer/transfer calls using proper phone etiquette
Print/FAX medical records
Patient charges
Assembling patient charts/folders
ER Quality Controls
Clean refrigerators ER/AC weekly
Wipe down ER stretchers and commodes daily/WCs weekly
Requirements
Successful completion of a nursing assistant training course is required
BLS
Current education on age specific assessment and interventions from neonate through geriatric
Preferred
Previous experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital setting
Certification of Nursing Assistant License
High School Diploma
