Job Description

Glen Raven is recruiting for an HRIS Analyst which the primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HR department. This position serves as a point of contact for technical and user support for the entire HR department. Critical responsibilities will be ensuring data integrity report writing testing of system changes and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst will also play a vital role in system functionality projects to advance system utilization. This position will require the technical proficiencies of system administration as well a willingness to become familiar with all facets of Human Resources to better provide solutions and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an HR systems Super User. Applies knowledge to maintain effective system utilization and accuracy.
  • Provide HRIS support and training to HR department and key users.
  • Leverage the HRIS reporting platform to design create and implement analytics and dashboards for the organization.
  • Utilize HRIS and HRIS reporting platform to provide process improvement and automation.
  • Coordinate system related projects and process improvement: integration implementations enhancements and upgrade activities HR processes policies and practices that impact accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide support for HRIS including researching and resolving HRIS problems unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Manage data integrity and reliability for all employment data and system tables.
  • Assist in the review testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRMS tables; Document process and results.
  • Understand the functionality of HRIS system reporting and how it integrates with Payroll systems and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
  • 2 - 4 years HRIS related experience
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Computer Science Business or related field (or equivalent education and related training)2 - 4 years HR and Payroll experience preferred or general understanding of employment law
  • Technical Competency Demonstrates proficient technical skills and capacity to develop
  • Customer Service Proactive anticipation and response to service and user/customer needs; Meets commitments
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner
  • Interpersonal skills (Works well with team environment)
  • Organizational skills
  • High level computer proficiency
  • Ability to communicate well with technical and nontechnical users
