Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology has an opening for a full-time faculty member in the Diagnostic Division at the rank of Instructor as a Radiology Assistant (RA) (RPA).This is a terrific opportunity to join a highly progressive department and world-class medical institution that is located on a new state-of-the-art campus on the Front Range of the Rocky University of Colorado Hospital is a 620-bed tertiary care center that is the #1 ranked hospital in Colorado and top 20 in the nation according to US News and World is consistently ranked as one of the countrys fastest growing and most desirable cities offering ample opportunities to enjoy the classic outdoor Colorado lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various diagnostic procedures and exams as well as assist the radiologists in performing exams
- Work in conjunction with physicians
- Responsible for providing clinical imaging services
- Will perform imaging procedures according to established protocols and under direct supervision and when necessary personal supervision of a radiologist.
- FluoroscopicGI and GU examinations
- Fluoroscopic and/or US guided diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal injections/aspirations
- May include thoracentesis paracentesis and lumbar puncture
- Participate in teaching and training of residents and fellows.
- Consulting on work in progress and completed work to assure accuracy
- Providing physician prescribed post-care instructions to patients.
- Participating in the quality assurance program to conform to federal state local and hospital regulations and guidelines.
- Working effectively with patientsco-workers residents physicians and supervisors.
Work Location:The clinical work of the RPA would be located at the Anschutz Medical Campus located in Aurora CO. This position may rotate to Highlands Ranch Hospital located in Highlands Ranch CO.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Registered Radiology Assistant (RRA) Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) or Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP).
- Board Certified
- Radiology Practitioner Assistant (CBRPA) or
- Board Certified Registered Radiologist Assistant (AART) or
- PA/NP certified
- Radiology Practitioner Assistant (CBRPA) or
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluoroscopy experience

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$103000 - $139000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
