The person serving in the position of Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating disabilities injuries and disease using a range of manual therapy modalities and exercises as well as providing education and consulting services. The Occupational Therapist complies with all regulatory professional ethical quality improvement and facility standards performs charting and patient progress notes as well as supervision training and assistance to department personnel. The Occupational Therapist serves in a multidisciplinary capacity providing services to a wide variety of populations which may include pediatric medical/surgical orthopedics outpatient. Homecare services are also provided and may increase travel frequency.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Requirements
Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate Masters or Doctorate program in occupational therapy approved by an accredited organization
Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist within the State of ND
Two years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification
Current ND Drivers license
Preferred
Community/home health experience
