Responsibilities
This position establishes the standards and methodologies of medical nutrition therapy for patients and staff and delivers direct patient care.

Qualifications
We require:
- Bachelors degree and Registered Dietitian status (RD / RDN) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Washington State Certification
- Specialty board certifications as needed per area & assignment
- Working knowledge of anatomy physiology chemistry biochemistry pharmacology and behavioral sciences
- An understanding of therapeutic nutrition
- A working knowledge of safety and sanitation practices for food science
- Counseling skills the ability to negotiate work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment and strong math skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- A Masters Degree is preferred. Two years of experience in an acute care hospital; OR an advanced degree plus one year of acute care experience and one year of outpatient experience are also preferred.
