Are you ready for advanced investigative and public contact work handling insurance complaints related to life health disability property and casualty lines of insurance This Insurance Investigator 2 with the Insurance Departments Health Care Division is your time to shine! Make a difference by assisting Pennsylvanias insurance consumers who are advocating for theirand their familyshealth and well-being!
In this role you will organize and proactively manage a caseload of consumer complaints to determine company and producer compliance with existing statutes and regulations as well as educate consumers and respond to inquiries on matters relating to their insurance needs in an unbiased manner. Responsibilities involve reviewing and investigating complex consumer complaints; preparing detailed notes and written reports; and handling numerous telephone calls and inquiries from the general public and licensees regarding various insurance regulations statutes adjudications and industry trends.
Effective timely and professional written verbal and written communication skills are key for success this role. Our team and Pennsylvanias insurance consumers will rely on you to make sound decisions and recommendations recognize any trends and suspected violations of insurance law and regulation and promptly refer these to management. You may also be expected to testify at formal hearings and be available to represent the Department at consumer events.
