Job Description
Elizabethtown College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor and Field Experience Coordinator of Exercise Science . This is a full-time 9-month position beginning August 2025. Elizabethtown College offers a BS degree in Exercise Science as well as an option of a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy Pre-Athletic Training or Strength and Conditioning within the major as well as minors in Exercise Science and Coaching. Required Qualifications
Candidates are required to have a Master of Science degree in an Exercise Science-related field and at least 2 years of professional and/or clinical/academic laboratory experience in an Exercise Science-focused career. Preferred degrees or concentrations are in Exercise Physiology Biomechanics Health and Human Performance or Strength and Conditioning (or similar). Professional certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Associations ( NSCA ) or American College of Sports Medicine ( ACSM ) is also required. Candidates are also expected to maintain professional credentials and skills. Preferred Qualifications
A doctorate (or ABD ) is preferred as is a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or clinical/academic laboratory experience.
