Through deep understanding of Yaras business needs and by building strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers Indirect Procurement ensures that Yara is able to achieve great results by bringing assurance of supply quality service and innovation while significantly contributing to the Companys bottom-line as part of the Yara Improvement Program.

As a Sourcing Manager youll be part of the Indirect Procurement Europe Region working in Logistics Procurement EU. You will be delivering on value creation and cost savings by working collaborative in cross-functional teams with internal -and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate warehouse & terminal and road transport agreements for YIS YEU and Yara Production facilities.
  • Annual spend to be managed: WH & T: 45 MUSD and Road: 70 M USD
  • Secure warehouse and road transport capacity for the business and provide a baseline for operations (Terminal operations EBS Vilnius and/or local TM and plants).
  • Follow-up on KPIs and service levels of 3rd party suppliers.
  • Full administrative processing of the agreements and spend management.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the WH&T and Road transport category strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to align expectations and to drive and develop value creation initiatives.
  • Structural business case development and presentation towards internal stakeholders to drive initiatives and new business forward.
  • Assure that business relations with main suppliers in your region and internal stakeholders are managed maintained and developed.
  • Develop supplier relationship management including ongoing contract management and control collection of performance data and analysis.
  • Bring market intelligence on the Warehouse & Terminal and Road transport market in the Nordics and Baltics and implement this intelligence into the sourcing processes.
  • Ensure compliance to the Procurement Policy process and operating model.

Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Business administration Commerce Logistics or other relevant disciplines.
  • Educational background in Procurement and/or Logistics or equal with 5 or years experience in a Procurement and/or Logistics position.
  • Commercial mindset with influencing negotiating and contracting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to execute market research business analysis and benefit tracking.
  • Knowledge on the actual Warehouse & Terminals and Road transport market in the Nordics and Baltics or Europe in general.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking. Result-oriented mindset.
  • Microsoft Office skills (preferably advanced in Excel). Strong knowledge of an ERP system (preferably SAP) and other Procurement management systems.
  • Fluent in written and spoken:
    • English (mother tongue or highly advanced)
    • Swedish or Norwegian (advanced)

Additional Information

  • Location: Sweden. Yara Malm office or hybrid home office.
  • Travelling: Flexibility to travel within the defined region (Nordics & Baltics) and Europe.
