Position Summary:
St. Joseph Catholic School Vancouveris seeking a part-time hourly Athletic Director to oversee and support our CYO sports program. Working closely with the CYO Portland Office St. Joseph School Commision school administration coaches and parents the Athletic Director helps ensure a positive faith-filled and educational experience for all student-athletes. This position requires strong organizational skills a collaborative spirit and a commitment to Catholic values and youth development.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversee registration process for all players and coaches
Assist sport commissioners in recruiting training and supporting volunteer coaches
Plan submit and track the overall St. Joseph CYO annual budget
Serve as site monitor for all home games in the St. Joseph gym or secure an approved site monitor
Coordinate and manage concessions at all St. Joseph CYO home events
Actively promote the CYO program within the school and parish community
- Includes participation in events such as the Parish Ministry Fair and School Open House
Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders in the CYO program
Serve as liaison between St. Joseph CYO Club and CYO Camp Howard
- Attend all mandatory meetings and functions hosted by CYO/Camp Howard

Qualifications:

Experience in athletic program coordination volunteer management or youth sports preferred
Strong communication leadership and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed during athletic seasons
Understanding of and commitment to the mission of Catholic education
Practicing Catholic preferred but not required
Completion of diocesan Safe Environment training and background check required

Compensation:
Approximately $20-$22 per hour (Paid position for Fall Winter and Spring seasons) This position is not benefits eligible.
