Product Acceptance Specialist

The Boeing AvionX Quality organization is seeking a highly motivated Product Acceptance Specialist to join our growing team in Smithfield PA. AvionX supports work across all Boeing business units (BDS BCA & BGS).

Boeing AvionX develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for use on aircraft and other platforms for purposes such as navigation flight controls information systems and other core avionics functions. Our requirement to build quality and reliable products is high.

You will be working in a team environment collaborating with multiple functions. Your participation in the entire life cycle of our products is key. Starting with receiving inspection of parts through final inspection of completed assemblies.

You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying parts assemblies and processes to ensure compliance to customer quality standards. Your role will also focus on ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required inspection records.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance to quality requirements

  • Ensure accuracy completeness and proper maintenance of all required inspection records

  • Verify completeness of inspection reports certificates of conformance and test records

  • Identify discrepancies in workmanship / documentation and coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve issues

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of documentation reviews and inspections

  • Participate in internal audits and support corrective and preventive action activities

  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in quality assurance document control and inspection within a manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of experience in a related role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct thorough reviews of technical documentation and assemblies

  • Stong organizational and record-keeping skills

  • Additional education or certification in quality assurance

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
