About the Role:
Were looking for a Detail Solution Architect with strong technical skills in Java and Spring Boot and hands-on experience in modern architectural patterns for microservices design.
In this role youll analyze existing monolithic systems propose service decomposition strategies and support teams in designing robust scalable microservices. Youll collaborate closely with developers product owners and other architects to ensure consistency in technical direction and architectural decisions while also staying grounded in real-world implementation challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Analysis: Review and analyze existing monolithic systems identify component boundaries and evaluate technical feasibility for decomposition.
Service Design: Apply modern architectural patterns such as DDD API Decomposition Strangler Saga and Circuit Breaker to design microservices that are reliable and maintainable.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams product owners and enterprise architects to guide implementation and ensure architectural consistency.
Documentation & Communication: Define and maintain architectural documentation API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger) and communicate design decisions clearly across teams.
Quality & Integration: Support the integration of services into CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments (e.g. Kubernetes/OpenShift) with focus on resilience and scalability.
Must-have Skills and Experience:
Strong Technical Foundation: Java 8 and Spring Boot/Spring Cloud experience.
Architecture & Design: Solid knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) and architectural patterns like Strangler API Decomposition Saga Circuit Breaker ACL.
Microservices & APIs: Experience with RESTful API design and API Management using OpenAPI Swagger and Spectral.
Cloud & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift Docker/Podman and Helm in cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP).
Authentication & Authorization: Familiarity with OAuth2 OIDC and IDP tools like Keycloak.
Ways of Working: Agile mindset and experience working in Scrum-based teams.
