Position Summary:
This role is responsible for Customer experience development team. The individual will be a people leader who will be supporting coaching and mentoring the team of highly potential developers. This leader will work very close to functional leaders who are responsible for the project delivery and work with the team to align the vision expectation roadmap and performance.
This role is responsible for the designing development and implementation of all the stages in the software development life cycle. Managers work with functional leaders to create cutting-edge solutions. They have general expertise in each layer of the technology development process. They take part in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes including feature requests developing user stories creating and executing test cases and delivering the desired solutions to the stakeholders. They manage
a team of Software Engineers and provide guidance to them in developing the desired software applications.
Job Description:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Leads multiple software development projects by managing a team of Software Engineers supporting eCommerce Web Portals and Customer Support solutions.
Manages development activities with the goal of building the next generation of the companys software products
Drives development as the digital platform group moves into new market areas such as cloud computing
Works closely with the business to build cutting-edge solutions following the agile development process
Contributes encourage the team to innovate using the modern the technology frameworks and trends in customer experience area
Maintains and grows core toolkit that supports applications along with secondary applications
Works with customers the product management team and the software development team to develop and design software
Works in cross-functional teams and leads requirement analysis prototyping and delivery
Manages trains develops and mentors team members and participates in budget making process
Facilitates the creation of detailed development plans
Manages the coordination between different teams involved in the development cycle
Communicates with customers to bring clarity in product requirements and product feedback
Manages risk identification and mitigation strategies with sprint teams
Ensures the product delivered fulfills the expectations of the stakeholders
Ensures documentation of the processes
Serves as a technical leader and expert providing directions across multiple sprint teams
Brings synergies among the business needs user requirements and team capabilities
Experience & Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. Overall experience of 10 years with 5 years of directly-related or relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial capacity preferably in software designing or software applications.
