Job Description
Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Location: Lawton Oklahoma
Facility Type: Hospital
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Job Type: Contract / Travel
Start Date: June 16
Under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager the Certified Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care in critical care areas including adult pediatric and neonatal ICU settings. The CRT is also expected to assist in the training and education of RT personnel within these specialties. This is a vital hands-on role within a hospital environment focused on delivering high-quality respiratory care across multiple patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver respiratory therapy in accordance with physician orders protocols and hospital standards

Provide support in adult pediatric and neonatal critical care environments

Set up and manage mechanical ventilation aerosol therapy airway management and oxygen therapy

Respond to codes rapid responses and assist with intubations as needed

Document all respiratory interventions and patient responses accurately and timely

Educate and support fellow RT staff in critical care procedures and equipment usage

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care

At least 6 months of experience in respiratory care Required

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Strong clinical skills in ventilator management critical care and patient assessment
These certifications are required but applicants without active certifications may still be considered by CCMH:

BLS (AHA) Required

State of Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist License Required
